Rapid Discharge Service Extended with Additional Winter Resilience Funding

After a successful initial 9 months of service, we are delighted to announce the successful extension of the Rapid Discharge Service, supported by additional funding to help meet increased demand during the winter period.

This funding ensures that it can support more people over the forthcoming months and continue to play a vital role in easing pressure on our urgent care services while providing individuals with the timely support they need in the community.

Winter is a critical time for health and social care services, with heightened demand across the system. The extension of the Rapid Discharge Service comes as a timely solution.
