Clinical Team

As an innovative provider of high-quality social care services, Venture People is committed to ensuring our services are psychologically informed. This is embodied by our skilled in-house clinical team, led by a Chartered Psychologist with specialised expertise in complex needs, alongside an Applied Behavioural Analyst and team of Registered Behaviour Technicians. 

Our Clinical Support Services

Our Clinical Team provides strategic, evidence-based interventions, both directly and indirectly, to promote positive outcomes for individuals and teams. Services include:

  • Clinical Strategy and Intervention: We identify strategies, offer guidance, and deliver psychological interventions tailored for individuals and groups.
  • Trauma-Informed Practice: Our team is skilled in trauma-informed approaches that prioritise client safety and resilience.
  • Positive Behaviour Support: We develop and oversee behavior plans to enhance communication and social engagement.
  • Reviews and Recommendations: Participation in MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) reviews and critical case meetings to ensure collaborative and holistic support.
  • Training and Coaching: Our team provides training, coaching, and debriefing to support and empower staff teams.
  • Governance Strategy: Active involvement in Integrated Governance Strategy to ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Specialist Assessments and Diagnostics

Our Clinical Lead is trained in diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD (using ADOS-2) in adults. We also offer assessments for intellectual difficulties. For further details please contact lucy.brierley@venture-people.com

Supporting Staff Specialism and Development

To support best practices and offer growth opportunities, we have introduced Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs) within our clinical teams. Supervised by our Applied Behavioural Analyst, RBTs work closely with individuals and staff teams, providing:

  • Implementation of intervention plans.
  • Monitoring and updating of behaviour support plans.
  • Family and stakeholder engagement.
  • Staff training and individual support.
  • Support for client transitions into new services or settings.
  • Review of incident and ABC data to inform broader service planning.
