Further Funding Secured for Rapid Discharge and DORs Services

We’re delighted to share that both the Rapid Discharge and DORs services have been extended for another year.

This continued funding reflects the positive outcomes these services deliver in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, helping people to safely transition from inpatient care to community settings with the right support in place. The DORS service it is now it’s third consecutive year of funding. For Rapid Discharge it is now in its second year of funding- having originally started as just a 12 week pilot project.

For DORs (Discharge Outreach Recovery Service), this extension forms part of wider investment across the South East to support people with longer-term and more complex mental health needs.
