Specialist Support for Complex Needs
Venture People works with people who have mental health needs, learning disabilities, neurodiversity and associated complex needs.
Our services are recovery and reablement focused, psychologically informed and trauma-informed, with support shaped around each person’s needs, risks, strengths and goals.
We develop services in response to local need, helping commissioners create flexible support pathways for people who may not fit standard service models.
Commissioned Support Pathways
Our commissioned services can support people who need flexible, responsive and person-centred support.
This may include:
- supported accommodation
- community-based support
- specialist community support

- clinical input
- positive behaviour support
- wellbeing support
- support for people with learning disabilities, autism, neurodiversity and complex needs
Impact for Health and Social Care Partners
Our recovery and reablement-focused services can support positive outcomes for individuals while also helping reduce pressure on wider health and social care systems.
Examples of impact include:
- Rapid Discharge supported 62 clients in its first year, helping to prevent hospital admissions and extended hospital stays
- DORS supported 166 clients in its first year, helping reduce inpatient bed usage and hospital avoidance
- a long-term hospital resident was supported to transition into community living and maintain her own tenancy for the first time in over four years
- accommodation and community outreach services have contributed to support package reductions and closures where people have progressed
- accommodation services achieve high levels of move-on to lower support year on year
