If you have an interest in working in the mental health sector and making a positive difference, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team providing intensive support to clients with complex mental health needs. You will have the full support of a team leader who will be actively involved in the service and benefit from our extensive training and development. You will also have access to the MDT supporting our clients as well as our in house clinical team to provide any additional advice and guidance you may need. We have both day and waking night shifts available.
We are ideally looking for staff with some experience in mental health – either personally or professionally, with an endless amount of patience and high levels of emotional and psychological resilience. Some of the work will be challenging but exceptionally rewarding as you see our client re-engaging with the local community and regaining their independence with your support.
We focus on recovery and support our clients in regaining independence and control over their own lives and making their own decisions.

Key Duties
- To facilitate the delivery of a service which follows a person-centred ethos and promotes independence.
- To complete dynamic risk assessments and support plans.
- Promote wellbeing and appropriately manage risk.
- Ensure adherence to company and national policies and procedures.
- To work flexibly as required by the service; this may require some working outside of your normal hours to provide consistent support.

Desired Skills:
- It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition or learning disabilities, within a community-based service.
- Experience of creating/writing care plans and risk assessments would be beneficial.
